Book Club is curated by HarperCollins Publishers who, together with exceptional authors and illustrators, bring the magic of reading to life. And with guided reading levels and convenient home deliveries, we make it easy for parents to share a variety of feel-good content, track reading progression, and celebrate the milestones with their budding bookworms. From story time together with you to reading independently on their own, we partner with parents and kids every step of the way to make this learning–to–read journey filled with fun, joy, and adventure.
Inspiring Kids to Read Since 1957
Since 2018, I Can Read! Book Club has been shipping early reader books to kids across the U.S. But all the fun didn’t start there! I Can Read! Books, a part of HarperCollins Publishers, got its start in 1957 with the goal of inspiring a love of reading in every child. Generations of kids have learned to read and fallen in love with reading with classic children’s book characters like the Berenstain Bears, Little Critter, and Frog and Toad. Newcomers like Pete the Cat, Pinkalicious, and Baby Shark have captured the hearts of budding bookworms, too. We’re proud to publish a treasure trove of early reader books that kids love to read. More so, to meet them where they are on their learning-to-read journeys.
We believe that every child should have access to great books and experience the joy of reading. At present, we’ve donated over 30,000 books to Save the Children to help kids in need in rural America read.

We know that reading is magic. When a child learns how to read, they can be anywhere, be anything, at any time. New people, places, and things are just a page-turn and an imagination away. We also know that the best time to discover the joy of reading is now, during the formative stages of early childhood. Our goal is to meet kids where they are on their learning-to-read journeys with a customizable subscription box and fantastic roster of early reader books. With I Can Read! Book Club, today’s busy families can stop wasting time searching for the best early reader books to buy and, instead, enjoy more time reading together.
